Can I use a year long aldehyde fixed tissue for TEM?

I have salamander samples fixed in aldehyde fixative (2% formaldehyde + 2.5% gluteraldehyde and sodium cacodylate). Its been almost a year that they are fixed. I wanted to know if they will still work for TEM protocol ahead?
