Dear all,
I was wondering if a JetPEI (transfection reagens) DNA mix can be stored at 4°C (or better at -20°C) for a couple of days up to 1 week, or if this will harm the JetPei-DNA mix for transfection of HEK293T cells. The problem I encountered was that I already made my JetPEI-DNA mixes, before I observed that my HEK293T cells had come off the bottom of my cell culture flasks (for an unkown reason). So I have to reculture my cells...

Hi Alexander, I think it's really not recommended. This is true for most of chemical reagents, complexes should be prepared feshly. With polymers in particular you have great chance to form precipitates in your solution. Sorry but you have to restart... Good luck

I agree with reserchers , but if you need to store you can stored at 4 °C,and it stable for 12 months (101-01N) to at least two years .
