Can I run Kasp Assays on wheat with qPCR?

Hello folks,

I am troubling finding a straight answer for this following question : can I run a qPCR base on KASPAR assays - potentially in multiplex - on wheat?

Some providers mentioned to me that KASP assays compared with Taqman based ones are not suitable for that purpose? Could you confirm or at the opposite, quote any article on the topic? Best, and thanks ahead
