Hey dear people, I have 11 DVs and 1 IV. When I tried to run MANOVA for all 11 DVs in SPSS, it said "Box's Test of Equality of Covariance Matrices is not computed because there are fewer than two nonsingular cell covariance matrices". I looked it up and the reason seemed to be that in my 11 DVs, 2 of them are calculated with 3 other DVs respectively as a general/composite score.

Now my idea is to take out these 2 composite DVs and run a separate MANOVA for them. In this case, I'll have to run 2 MANOVAs: one with 9 DVs, and the other with 2 DVs. I didn't find any information on whether this is acceptable. Can you give me some suggestions? Thank you in advance!
