Can I replace Invitrogen’s pLP1 + pLP2 + VSV-g plasmids with the pMDLg/pRRE + pRSV-Rev + pMD2.G 3rd gen packaging system off of Addgene?

We have a number of lentiviral plasmids from Eric Campeau (Addgene).

Would I be able to use the pMDLg/pRRE + pRSV-Rev + pMD2.G 3rd generation packaging system that I can purchase off of Addgene in place of Invitrogen’s pLP1, pLP2, and VSV-g plasmids?

Should be fine, we use a 4 plasmid system from Addgene with great success.
