I need to image mesoporous silica nanoparticles that are in ~100 nm size and do high resolution TEM to look at mesopores. what grids should I use?

Need to image mesoporous silica nanoparticles using the TEM. Also, need high resolution TEM images to see the mesoporous structure. Kindly suggest what kind of grids to use. Thanks, Shatadru

For FT-IR measurements, we use KBr as binding agent. I tried making pellets without any binder but pellets broke as soon as I removed them from die.

You will get oxides on the surface of nanopowders and change composition In the case of water. It is difficult to make pellets without binder. So, you should create bypass. You should produce 10 pellets with different binders: With oxygen, without oxygen, protonic and aprotonic heptane gecsan and so on. Measurements will show effect of binders on your properties more or less
