Hello, yes as said above is possible, but you have to take in account some things, for example if you want to check or not que chemical diversity of your sample (mixture?) or is for determination of the exact mass of one pure compound... also is very very important to make a blank measure (the same solvent used to dissolve your sample) to check the background and then you can be sure which peaks correspond to you sample.
Your matrix effects and ion suppression can have a big effect. If you have done a good clean up, or if the matrix is fairly pure then go ahead. For a more complex matrix a short chromatography run may lead to a significant improvement, especially if this is intended as an ongoing method rather than a short term method
