Good afternoon, big data is a large field. I think that you have to determine your research interests. You can do sentiment analysis, investigate the satisfaction (or not) of customers for a service, the efficiency of policies, the well-being of populations, factors and their impacts on a target variable, etc. You can find some examples of data on Kaggle or on consumer researcher data You have also to consider the availability of data (do you need specific authorization, ethics approval, more restricted conditions for personal data, can you trust in this source of secondary data?
