Let us assume that we have two points, A & B; whereas A (X=8, Y=2) and B(X=3, Y=4).
I am trying to figure out if I can get any useful and rational "single value" from point A's X & Y together to compare it with the "single value" from point B's X&Y. For instance, to say 8+2=10, while 3+4=7 , that means point A has more impact than point B.
Please, try to support your answer with proper theory from any discipline.
Is there such a thing in math? If not, can be invented?

A point in (X,Y) space is just a co-ordinate, utility of one of which over another, stems explicitly from the point of view of the problem at hand which is utilizing this co-ordinate space, for example if the two points given as numerical example by you, be solutions of a linear system AZ=B, Z=(X,Y), and you are interested in a solution of a smaller 1-norm, then (3,4) point is more useful in context of your problem than the point (8,2), however, given the same problem and adding the constraint that more useful solution is the one closer to a reference point (8,0), then in this context (8,2) is more useful point than (3,4)
Take these two points. You can fit a line between them. You can fit a parabole between them, you can fit a sine curve at any frequency between them, etc.
What problem are you trying to solve?
I think you can check with quantitative graph theory in topology.
