Hi, I am using indomethacin for mice, in their drinking water.

I prepared a X400 stock solution in 100% ethanol. It dissolved very well, and I kept it in -20C, as I saw recommended.

After a while I've noticed that there is a precipitant in the stock tube. In order to homogenize it before adding some to the drinking water (to create the working solution), I need to adjust the solution to room temperature for a few minutes and mix. I need to do that 12 weeks X 3 times every week.

I am wondering if that is OK, to play with the temperatures like that, or it might change/ damage the substance? Or should I aliquot the stock solution? If aliquot, should I prepare one-time-use tubes (=36 tubes)?

Thank you in advance!
