Can I detect steroids in human plasma with HPLC (UV-fluorescence) with or without derivatization with sufficient sensitivity?

I would like to measure steroids in human plasma however I only have HPLC with UV/fluorescence.

IS there any way to do that? Perhaps derivatization?

You can detect sterols and steroids by UV absorption in HPLC. First you need to partially purify your sample, saponification in ethanolic KOH works well. Then you can separate the mixture by RP-HPLC (C-18 column) and dectect by UV absorption. These references might help you:
