Can I bring DNA samples on a flight? How do I maintain the integrity of the extracted DNA while transporting them on a flight?

I am extracting DNA overseas and need to bring it back to Australia. Is it better to ship the DNA samples using temperature controlled shipping from Fed ex? or I can bring them on a flight with me?
