I think, Flood Modeler is the best one for you. Because, this mode couples hydraulic model with catchment model and then you can calibrate catchment outputs and inputs with observed data in river part... For example, when the water marks is the only available data in a river you can calibrate catchment parameters such as CN, Tc, Infiltration parameters or ...

Dear researcher each model is basically designed depending upon numerical background and boundary conditions. Moreover each model has inputs and outputs. For this it is impossible to use one model for two different purposes without significant modifications especially if it is a software.

In my opinion, model is still a model. You can't use it for calibrating something. On the other hand, you should calibrate it. Best recommendation for you is calibrating your model with cross section of your river outlet. You should measure it phisically. For the natural river, the discharge is about 2,334 of return periods in years.

Calibration process is essential step in the mathematical modeling. So the model needs to be calibrated not to be used for calibrating another model.

Model itself need calibration it does not help in that way

The hydrodynamic model could be useful. For example, with the hydrodynamic model you can calibrate the stream routing of the reaches defined in the hydrologic model (for example by calibrating the X and K of Muskingum method).

As you know that there are lumped and distributed hydrology methods to develop all hydrological parameters. But, there are two types of the distributed hydrology methods which are physically based and non-physically based . The physically based method depends on the hydrodynamics equations and the non-physically method depends on a formula. If you have high resolution data (including images), the physically based method is a best method for you and you can use its results for the calibration.

A good answer is certainly obtained for a well explained question.
