Fibers will increase the strength of mixture and utility may increase in high strength requirements projects
Yes it can be added during transportation by automobile concrete mixture, provided there is enough time for the whole fibers to distribute through the concrete mass.
Recently I have seen article appearing in research gate showing improved strength of concrete mixture by adding glass pieces
