I used the precursors and the capping agent in the ratio 1:1:2 but I haven't gotten good capping for my material. I used sodium sulphide as my sulphide source and I did my experiment at room temperature. What can be done to improve my capping?
Thermal treatment could improve the capping effect, but not very much sure. There are several reports on improving the capping agent efficiency. Try to optimize accordingly.
Based on my experience, the amount of capping agent should be relatively much more than your precursors. You can try the molar ratio of 1:1:5 or 1:1:10. And you can also try higher temperature.
