Can cosmid circular DNA be packed in vitro with lambda packaging extracts?

I wonder if a circular cosmid plasmid ~36kb can be packed in vitro using lambda packaging extracts. so the question for "lambda " people or molecular biologists working with lambda extracts.... can a circular DNA be packed or only concatamers can be packed ? Anybody knows?

I suppose that the conformation of the circular molecule do not allow to enter the capsid while the linear form is able to do that. Capsids being to my knowledge constructed before the entry of the DNA and not around the molecule during the replication.
