Dear Colleagues,

I have a question about a Coordinate-Based Colocalisation (CBC algorithm).

I need to estimate colocalisation of RNAs with proteins. The proteins will be labeled by fluorescent antibodies or photoswichable tags and thus every single-molecule localization event approximately correspond to one molecule of protein. In contrast, for RNA labeling a pool (hundreds) of fluorophore will represent individual RNA molecule. To elucidate a position of each individual RNA I am going to apply a clustering procedure. My question is, which tool is then to use for quantification of colocalisation between RNA clutered data and single-molecule localization data for proteins. Data of mixed origin. Can I use CBC in this case?
