We would like to generate a single copy insertion of a human gene in C. elegans genome, and we decided to try the MosSCI method. The problem is that we have a gene gun (BioRad PDS-1000/He Particle Delivery System) but we do not possess injector. Can we somehow accomplish the gene introduction in this system by the bombardment method? (Is it possible to bind all ingredients - vector, transposase etc...- to the gold/tungsten particle?). Maybe, has somebody a protocol for this...?
