Can benzylperoxide clindamycin and adapalene be used simultaneously on the site of acne for a period of 10 to 30 minutes in the evening. . Will there be any change in the bioavailability of drugs.
I would always apply BPO/Clinda in the morning and adapalen in the evening or vice versa plus photoprotection

Benzoyl peroxide does not pair well with topical tretinoin (Retin A, Atralin, Ziana, Veltin, Renova are a few brand name examples). The benzoyl peroxide can reduce the efficacy of the tretinoin. Interestingly, benzoyl peroxide does NOT effect adapalene. Epiduo is a brand (Galderma) is a great option for a combination product that contains both benzoyl peroxide and a retinoid-type ingredient.
In a study conducted by Korkut C and Piskin S. it was found that adapalene and benzoyl peroxide are effective and well tolerated agents for acne vulgaris; combination therapy has no superiority over adapalene or benzoyl peroxide alone.
Based on this study and other studies benzylperoxide clindamycin and adapalene can be used simultaneously without any negative effect on the bioavailability of drugs.

Benzyl peroxide (BPO) available as a combination with both of clindamycin and adapalene in India. . However if somebody use clindamycin twice in a day time . . I prefer to use BPO and adapalene combination once a night for 15-20 mins for Grade I/II Acne (IAA) . . Both having massive irritant potential even if use for short contact therapy . . If irritation is profuse . . You can prescribe BPO 2.5% soap once or twice
