I don't know of too many labs that archive/store fumigated soil samples. The problem is that as soon as you stop fumigating the soil tends to become recolonised, and thus samples change during storage. Storage at -80C would probably solve this problem, but no-one has that much spare freezer space.
If you're only interested in data you'll have no problem findings loads of data. Just search for chloroform fumigation or microbial biomass. Be aware that the precise protocol varies considerably among labs, so data may not be comparable among studies
Thank you. I would want a thimbleful of sample before fumigation so that I could correlate my tests estimate of biomass with the fumigation result. I could supply mailers and I could pay a small fee for the sample.
