There is no limit. The référé procedure is not a small claim proceedings. It's an emergency procedure. The jurisdiction of the Juge des référés is very wide : press matters, economics litigations, neighbourhood problems etc. Feel free to ask me further informations if needed.

And I have one more question: is there a french electronic database, where I can read référé decisions? Because I have been trying to find it for days, but for now I am stuck. We have one in Hungary, so I am guessing the French jurisdiction must have one! :)

You can access to the courts' decision on legifrance (www.legifrance.gouv.fr). Try to search with "référé" as a keyword for the "jurisprudence judiciaire" search motor. All the important référé decisions are also generally quoted in the civil procedure code published by Dalloz or Lexisnexis under the entry "référé" in the table of contents.
