What is the band gap energy and band structure of the metal selenite namely, ZnSeO3? Does it have any semiconductor property?
The band gap energy of the mixed metal ZnSeO3 is 3.228 eV. Electrical conductivity of the synthesized nano ZnSeO3 was studied by measuring change in conductance with temperature. The dependence of conductivity of metal selenite films in air ambience. The conductivity of the film goes on increasing with increase in temperature, indicating negative temperature coefficient (NTC) of resistance.
