It's related to Krebs' Book "Ecological Methodology" and offers "Diversity Estimates (DIVERS) various estimates of community diversity indices" if you rely on indicies.

Perhaps you need an old computer with 32-bit system, never used it with Windows 7, but you can try several compatibility modes in windows, if necessary.

I support the use of R package as suggested by Dr. Alan however the book mentioned by Peter on Ecological Methodology would also suffice if the data sets are not to large.

I suggest R packages which is free and very simple if you know the basic programming logic

R is one solution. PAST is another solution.

MS-Excel is a simple solution if you know algorithms, calculate yourself with a lot of flexibility for 10 samples (islands) depending on your objective. You need to decide which algorithms and why these algorithms you need to use.

Hi! I will also suggest R... if you don´t know well about programming you can always download the scripts fron internet, change variables and dataframes and try...it´s not so complicate...
