Please help me.. I am working on flat sheet membrane contactors for carbon dioxide absorption. I constructed a contactor cell in the lab, but it is not efficient at all. I want to operate it in counter current mode. But, however, there is constant leakage of solvent from the gas outlet side, which is really unacceptable. The membrane cell consists of O-ring on the gas side. To prevent leakage, I covered the inner surface of the cell except the membrane area using parafilm. But this doesn’t work. And the results Im getting is 0 % absorption unfortunately. I’m stuck at this point of my research. Can anyone suggest me an efficient design for flat sheet membrane contactor cell please with dimensions if possible. I would be really grateful to you.

Thank you in advance for your help.
