I would like to treat the nanoparticles synthesized from the plant extract, still I am not able to get a precise protocol to determine the activity of the nanoparticles, please suggest a good protocol or the links containing the protocols (The size of the nanoparticles would be approx an average of 20 to 80 nm in size from the SEM and AFM analysis).

Better You use probe sonicator (make sterile by wiping with alcohol) . Make stock with chilled media because as you go for sonication 1-3 mins, media gets heated so better you take chilled media. Make fresh stock every time when you need to treat the cells. Don't sonicate for too long as media components may get damaged or heated too much, which is not good for the cells.

We typically make a concentrated stock and then sonicate the stock (in PBS) and then add from the 10X stock to media (small volume) and then add this to cells.
