In most cases, if X-ray shows standby state, when we measure PXRD pattern of the sample, the X-ray automatically changes to on state and shows voltage and current value.
This time, when we started to measure sample on D8 Advance diffractometer, the shutter immediately opened and X-ray still showed stand by state and no voltage and current values show. If we press the stop button, it does not work.
What has happened, how can we solve this problem?
Call Bruker if there isn't anyone there who knows how to repair a diffractometer. There could be hundreds of possibilities, and unless someone is there to actually examine the machine and figure out the problem it is not possible to give you an answer. It would be like a Doctor trying to diagnose your illness by an email exchange without ever having seen or examined you physically.
