Can anyone suggest how to control the primary cultures (tumor cells) from undergoing senescence?

Could you be more specific with respect to your plans to use these cells for experiments in future? If you plan to study certain cell signaling pathways that do not involve the p53 and Rb-pathways, there are ways to prevent cellular senescence.
