Is it possible to analyze methane gas using MS detector with GC?
you can analysis with GC but thermal conductivity detector (TCD) for better results and its also give quantity.

You can analyze the bio gas by GC with, twoTCD detectors (1st may be for CO, CH4, CO2, O2, N2, HC and 2nd TCD fully dedicated for H2,) and FPD for H2S gas detection.
similarly you can use online gas analyzer for real-time gas analysis.

Yes you can, you can use FID detector for the hydrocarbons such as methane and TCD detector for hydrogen gas
