Can anyone suggest a good electroplating system for depositing gold in semiconductor devices?

We are looking for good electroplating system for deposition of thick gold (2-3 um) to reduce power loss in the contacts of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs. Our sample sizes are very small (approx 2 cm x 2 cm).

If anyone is already using electroplating system for such purpose, please do suggest.

Hello Bhanu,

If you want fine tuning on your gold layer, maybe sputtering could be a good idea. Maybe electrodeposition could be another idea, but you need do control many experimental variables to take a good electrodeposit.
