Adding to Walid, the circuit breakers are set whenever there is a cable branching to feed distributed loads. So, this concept determines the locations of the circuit breakers.

The other concept is that the circuit breaker is used to protect the source side not the load side. So, the sizing of the relays is determined after sizing the cables and their nominal current carrying capacity.
