Our project is focused on FPGA acceleration of primitive convolutions and transforms associated with multi-spectral sensor fusion and while visible CCDs are plentiful and quite affordable, finding good and well priced IR detectors with common interfaces like analog NTSC, USB 2.0 digital and GPIO digital interfaces are a bit harder to find - we've been looking at solutions like Xenics (http://www.xenics.com/en/index.asp), JAI (http://www.jai.com/en/), and Tetracam (http://www.tetracam.com/Products1.htm), but curious what others have used and like and why.
