Hi, once upon a time I read an article which stated that cow heifers had higher percentage of getting pregnant when fed using Spirulina as fodder additive than the control group. There was also something about the timing of the feeding periods till 40 days and 120 days postpartum. This was not the main message of the publication, and accordingly I can not find it now by searching the web using the corresponding words.

Is anyone aware of that publication? Can anyone help me finding that paper or report or whatever that was?

Basically I am looking for real experimental data on the effect of Spirulina or similar (microalgal) fodder additives on the fertility of cattle. What I am finding now is either indirect, general statements or reports on ovary cells and alike, which seems correct, but STILL something that SHOULD result in higher number of calves, but not really the number of newborn healthy calves.
