For human tissue samples: rabbit anti-SLUG, from Abcam. I used it for DAB method and worked pretty well.

I checked out the ordering no.: ab27568. It is a polyclonal ab. Theoretically, it should also work for WB.

Do you fix the cells on glass slides? I think, you should try it. For the antigen-retrieval     I used citrate buffer pH 6.0, boiling at 95 °C for 45 min (human intestinal tissue).
