Greeting! For my MA dissertation, I am thinking of taking Work life balance scale by Hayman. However, I can't find the scoring procedure; also confused about the actual rating taken.
If anyone has used it in their research, kindly share it with me.

I looked at the article and it states that each of the items was answered using a 7-item Likert score method. They used exploratory factor analysis to separate these items into four sub-scales, and then assessed coefficient alpha for each of those. Since the use of alpha is based on simply adding the scores together for the items in each of the four sub-scales, that would presumably be adequate for your purposes as well.
What would be preferable, however, is to used confirmatory factor analysis to assess the fit of this pre-existing model to whatever data you collect.

Andrew Paul McKenzie Pegman, David L Morgan Thank you for your help. But my dilemma has still not been solved. Even though the items of the first two dimensions have been re-coded (making them positive), I can't find the revised questionnaire.
Was the revised version created by Hayman? All the references I saw were to the original Hayman (2005) scale.
David L Morgan Not sure... but when you read the items of the first two dimensions, you'll realize they are not positively worded. This means reverse-scoring would apply. However, in research papers, it's been mentioned that the items were made positive.
