In order to quantify quinalphos using UV-vis spectrophotometer is not an appropriate and acceptable method. It is a qualitative method, based on this method, the quantification is not accepted. I would suggest you to use Gas chromatography coupled to Nitrogen phosphorus detector or gas chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Using this gas chromatography method you can easily quantify at trace level in a wide variety of matrices.
Respected Agnishwar Girigoswami Sir, In that very Paper the authors have only mentioned that they have used UV–Vis spectrophotometer for determining the residual concentration of quinalphos. But have not mentioned how or which method they have followed to perform the same.
