Hi all,
I'm interested in X-y location of a point on an image. If I interpolate the image to be 1000 by 1000 pixels, then downsample it to 200 *200 pixels. Then measure X-Y location of the point. Do the interpolation and downsampling generate an artifact that might affect the accurate x-y position of the point?

When I take a picture for the signboard or mark in different view angle, there is a deformation of the sign region. Is there any method that I can use to affine the sign region to the normal form without any parameter of camera?
I have read a relative paper about this topic and that paper is in the attachment. However, in this paper, the author used the focus of the camera. Or, is there any other paper which discusses regarding similar topic ? I have spent a lot of time searching for similar paper, but I can't find other similar paper. Thank you.

I have got the following result of an image segmentation (image processing has been done using MATLAB)
I want to:
1) improve the appearance to get the vessels more smooth.
2) extract the oval-like part of the vessels in the middle of the image.

Hello,
I'm trying to enhance an image, using contrast. But the result is very noise in the enhanced image; like salt and pepper, only bigger and annoying.
I need to find Contrast, which uses mean
C=(L-M)/(L+M);
I'm using moving window to find mean at each pixel M(x,y), so that I can find contrast at each pixel C(x,y).
However, using matlab function mean2(I) results get a lot of noise in the image.
I tried using a bigger window, to a little use only.
So, can anyone suggest to me what I can do to remove that noise from the image?
