It's a huge field! There's a lengthy and very substantial literature going back to the 1970s in terms of research into bullying, with the Swedish psychologist Professor Dan Olweus being a pioneer in the field of both research and intervention. Norway quickly developed international prominence in the field, with the first nationwide programme being implemented in Norway 1983. The Olweus anti-bullying programme has been available to schools nationwide in Norway ever since. Prominent scholars in the field throughout and since the 1980s and 1990s have included Erling Roland (Norway), Peter Smith (UK), Ken Rigby and Philip Slee (Australia), Mona O' Moore (Ireland), Christina Salmivalli (Finland) Rosario Ortega (Spain), Ersilia Menesini (Italy), Sheri Bauman (United States) and Deborah Pepler (Canada) - all are well worth looking up. In terms of good source books, Peter Smith and colleagues have produced multi-national reviews of research into school bullying (1999), school violence (2003) and anti-bullying programmes in schools (2004). An excellent systematic review of anti-bullying programmes was made by Peter Farrington and Maria Ttofi in 2009. In recent years, Dorothy Espelage (United States) has been especially active in research, and Christina Salmivalli's KiVa anti-bullying programme runs nationwide in Finnish schools, and a number of other countries world-wide. As I said, it's a huge field, and I've not even mentioned the adjacent fields of workplace bullying, cyber-bullying, and identity-related bullying (e.g. homophobic bullying)! I have made contributions myself to the fields of anti-bullying research and intervention programmes since 2000, and many of my papers and chapters are uploaded on this site. If you wanted to have a look through a few, I'd be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Good luck!
I don't know if it fits with what you're looking for but if you are interested, there is some insightful researches about the bullying of Asperger (high functioning autism) teenagers in mainstream secondary schools. I can give you some references if you want. In one of them, the authors developed therapy groups and a board game to react and prevent bullying among this particular group of adolescents.
I have just begun my research on bullying, and I am currently focusing on the role of the safe school climate coordinator in implementing in implementing anti-bullying program.
As accurately noted by Stephen, bullying is a huge field, so you will need to determine what area you want to focus on as you can get overwhelmed very quickly. There is a vast amount of literature so you may want to start reading and from there you may be identify a specific area you will conduct your research.
Please let me know what other questions you may have.
Some have reframed it the concept as 'positive healthy relationships' or something similar. A group called Shift in Alberta, Canada put together a program for schools called the Fourth 'R', the 'R' meaning 'relationships'. You can find more info here: https://youthrelationships.org/
