Dear Shiela,

I just checked with WoRMS Database and found that Metula santoensis does not exist as a valid name and the work carried out by Ladd in 1976 is from fossil shells. gastropods.com also shares the same information with and addition of Guido. S. Popes work of the shells of Philippine islands. So there is not much of a clarity. Metula mitrella is also close (accepted now as Metula metula). Please clarify.

The WORMS database is a work in progress - it does not pretend to be complete for most taxa!
