Can't tell from the picture other than it's a colonial species. The colony also looks in very poor condition and possibly dying.

It actually looks more like a sponge to me, but as others have said, it will not be identifiable from this picture. For most ascidians, particularly colonial species, dissection is required to make definitive identifications. I agree with all the above. It’s unclear from your picture if it’s a tunicate or modern art.
