Hi everyone!

   Two quick crosslinked questions about NHS/BS3/DSS linkers...

1. If have an amine coated surface and couple bs3 (amine-amine) to it as part one of a two part linking step, is it safe to dry the sample out after the first linking, or will this deactivate the unbound NHS residues on the BS3?

2. Has anyone tried crosslinking to collagen with NHS derivatives? I've seen mixed reports and my data is confusing me right now. Our lab protocols assumeassume that NHS doesn't react with collagen, but some recent tests make it seem like it might.
