The formula for the resonant harmonic number in a capacitor bank is r = sqrt (S/Q), where S is the short circuit power at the point of connection and Q is the power of the capacitor bank. What happens if there are more than one short circuit power S at the point of connection? Should the most "usual" value of S be used?
Because for example in a transformer station one calculates the short circuit current that comes from a line or from another. Depending on the configuration of the network, the short circuit current/power can be different. For example, if there two overhead lines connected to a transformer station, and line 1 gives 1000MVA of short circuit power and line 2 gives 1500MVA. What of the values should be used for the formula of 'r'.

Intersting problem, but I think the issue of having more than one short circuit power is not sound.
I think that for a complex system, each point of the system has its corresponing driving point impedance. This impedance may present parallel or series resonance. Based on the resonances without C filters, I would calculate the value of the filters to damp/move those resonances.
