Emission inventories are always associated with uncertainty? I need a software to carry out uncertainty analysis on sets of emission values. @RISK or CrystalBall or any other one will be highly appreciated.
From your question it's not entirely clear what you intend to do with the requested software. Do you want to identify uncertainties, or are the uncertainties already identified? Do you wish to quantify uncertainty, or do you wish to include quantified uncertainties in some calculations?
CrystalBall appears to be an option if your inventory is based on a spreadsheet model. Of course the important work is not to find the software but to identify reasonable distributions for all of the categories and/or parameters in your inventories. Initially a rough estimate of the distributions will do and initial runs will quickly point out the sensitivity of the total to just a few of these distributions which can then be researched in more detail.
Giwa, there is a Software called Emisens, it estimates uncertainties from road traffic emissions, please check this PhD thesis: http://infoscience.epfl.ch/record/149809/files/EPFL_TH4793.pdf. You can also contact Professor Alain Clappier, he developed this Software: [email protected]
