I am developing a education module at workplace setting. Just wondering whether we have article on best practice or guidelines on development of educational module
· Learning Unit: A series of learning sessions (time units) dealing with a particular subject. The module is comprehensive and integrated, from the introduction to the evaluation.
· Share: is a continuous time unit for a lesson.
· Situation: is a stage of the lesson or quota is determined by its objectives and special procedures within the lesson.
· Objectives: It is the authorized text that accurately defines the desired competencies that are related to the subject.
· Action: It is a scenario for conducting the activities of the lesson based on the objectives.
In order to build a procedure,
· Role of the teacher and pupils
· Instructions given to them
· Estimate the time period
· Work tools (texts, exercises, etc.)
· means of education
· What students produce
· Calendar Modes
B / Preparation of a learning unit is to answer the following questions:
· What are the necessary tribal gains for students?
· What are the objectives and competencies desired?
· How much time do I have?
· What is the appropriate situation that I choose?
Students' participation should always be preferred
· How do I link positions?
· Do I need to adjust during unit periods?
How do I deal with differences in pupil levels?
· How is the written impact?
· What efficiency do I do and how do I do it?
Building the educational unit
· The tools I have:
• Official references (not textbooks!) And various official accompanying documents.
• Tribal gains: Students have previous information on the subject. The teacher should review the programs of previous years.
•Objectives
There are two types of objectives:
- Cognitive goals defined by official documents, which are mandatory.
- Methodological and practical objectives: set by the official instructions
I'm developing a framework, the LITE framework, for use in instructional design. In additional to Dr. Hassan's advice, I would suggest considering the LITE framework elements -- Learners (who are they, prior knowledge, learning outcomes), Instruction (best activities in the learning mode or context to meet learning targets or objectives), Technologies (digital technologies or other) and Environment (learning environment - place, context (online, blended etc). Could you possibly tell us more about your design task?
