Now, I am writing a manuscript about diffusive fluxes of dissolved nutrients in the lakes. However, I can not find the key parameter, i.e., molecular diffusion coefficient of NO3-N. From Web of Science, I get a paper entitled "Nutrient exchange and oxygen demand at the sediment–water interface during dry and wet seasons off the Medjerda River Delta (Tunis Gulf, Tunisia)" (Helali, M.A., Zaaboub, N., Oueslati, W. et al. Environ Earth Sci (2016) 75: 25. https://doi.org/10.1007/s12665-015-4820-x). While in ythis paper, the detail of this parameter was not mentioned. So I want to know how do I get this parameter？Thank you very much for your help and look forward to your guidance.
Well, I found a paper that showed the specific diffusive coefficient for nutrients in infinite dilution. I shared it on the RG and hope it could be usefull for someone.
D0 was the diffusive coefficient in infinite dilution, the values for NO2 , NO3, NH4, PO4 and SiO3 were 19.8, 19.1, 19.0, 10.0 and 7.34 (×10−6cm2/s), and the values for Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn were 7.17, 5.49, 7.33, 7.19, 6.88, 6.79, 9.45 and 7.15 (×10−6cm2/s) at 25 °C.
