I'm new with XRD pattern analysis. I used it for that Jade5 to detect the phase of ZrO2Y2O3 with 3mol% Y. After splintering in different temperatures and holding times, I found that there is only one phase in all my samples and it is tetragonal. But there are still differences in the patterns shape, e.g in the intensity length and width. Firstly I want to know what the intensity is and what its importance in XRD analysis is, and what it measures? Secondly I want to know why there are differences in the pattern shape (length and width) as indicated in my attach document, although the phase is the same in the pattern?
