Dear Sir/Mam, I have acquired an UV spectrophotometer JK-UVS-752N from Shangai Jingke scientific instrument trough a distributor in Brazil. According to distributor, the device makes wavelength scan automatically, but I didn't get to make works it in this function. The software was installed in windows 10 and it worked very well in the functions photometry, standard curve and kinetic curve, but it didn't work in wavelenght scan, multi-wavelenght and DNA protein. Is this due to software limitation? Do I need another software to enable these last functions? Or, is the problem the device? I tried contact with the manufacturer and the distributor but without sucess. Can anyone help me?

Some functions doesn't work properly because the software has not been installed correctly. I recommend to install the software again, usually it solves the problem.

Dear Sir/Mam, the manufacturer sent a new software, UV-Professional, which replaced the UV-Basic. However, this software didn't work, too. It needs a USB-key, that is a electronic key plugged into USB port, which enables the UV-Professional software to work, but this key was not sent. Therefore, I didn't know which is the problem, yet.
I also tested the suggestion of Mr Jabbar and Mr Mirshafian using UV-Basic. I uninstalled the software and re-installed in a computer with windows 10 and another with windows XP. However, the software didn't work in wavelenght scan, multi-wavelenght and DNA protein, again.
Hence, I'm waiting the manufacturer to explain that occurs.

i need to help also to my metash UV 5100 spectrophotometer. They didn't sent us the UV-basic (we borrowed a dics from our coleague of other university). in this basic program we cann't measure entire wivelenght range automatically , only we should set one wavelenght and then spectrometer measures the absorbance on the setting vawelenght. it is long process and in this period somethimes research fluid sedimentes partially. i think UV-professional can handle this program. if you please, could you send us this program, may i will unlock the key? thank you
Dear Mr. Mikelashvili, unfortunatelly the UV-Professional software works only with a device called UV key. This device is similar to a "pendrive" and it is connect to an USB port. Therefore, you cannot unlock the key because it is a physical device. Try to contact the manufacturer, Shanghai Jingke Scientific Instrument CO, Ltd. I think that this company may send for you the USB key. Good lucky.
i have UV-basic software and USB cable to connect my spectrophotometer. it works with usb and that software. are you sure that i will need additional UV key. you mean that UV-professional is not a seperate downloadable software and it is mounthed into UV key ?
Dear Mr Mikelashvili, I have UV Basic, too. In this case, UV Basic can be installed without UV key. But, UV professional I didn't get. Please, give me you email.
