I counted the stomatal densities of rice adaxial leaf (vegetative stage), in mm2 (stomatal imprint method) I was found that it has less than 100 stomata, but rice generally having high amount of stomata right? Can anyone give suggestion
The CO2 and Light adaptation exert a control on pore density. The section of leaf in monocots should be at the same age, that is etermined by the relative distance from the axis. leaf ends are holder than bases. Usually flag leaves are used for such in full sun computations.
