When I simulate a plant and I decide to insert one more component in the middle of the plant (or example a heat exchanger) components become yellow and the data are missed. Even when I insert the data and check the process it never becomes green again and an error like "insert a flow data" appears and never vanishes. If I could stop the calculation when I remove a component or inset one. It would help.
Ensure that the outlet stream of your exchanger has no component, because this might be conflicting with the component in the inlet stream.
There could be few reasons.
First, check the component coefficiens in simulation model. Is the simulation model adequate for that component.
Second, check all tabs in heat exchanger raitings. There could be missed some data, like composition in mole % or other that is already used for other components.
