Recently, I started to learn how to make spinal cord (SC) slice from junior mice and I want to record LTP for motor neurons. I have several questions about this: (1) How long is the appropriate time from sacrificing animal to put the agarose filled spinal cord? (2) What should be paid attention to for good slice quality? (3) where is stimulate electrode and record electrode located for filed potential recording of motoneurons? Thanks!
