I suggest to contact Vivek Sharma (Model Science College, India). He is also on research gate. I remember, he has published an article on one of Lycodon species where recorded in India. So, follow him!
I guess we already had a conversation after writing this post. Please let me know your further queries in detail. I will be happy to assist you in your documentation work anywhere in country. Regarding above species I say this is greatly unknown; best we know from its original description only so any information comes from anyone will be of great use. As of now it is considered as endemic to India but it is likely to be distributed in Nepal and probably in high elevations of POK also. Taxonomically this has some good features in head scalation which does not fall with Western Himalayan and Peninsular Indian Lycodons so distinct from sympatric ones.
